Exchange support for schools and vocational schools

The opportunities for apprentices to gain experience abroad during their training are limited. Most exchange programs and grants are aimed at students, although there is also increased interest among apprentices in international learning opportunities. With our grants for vocational schools and colleges, we aim to support school partnerships with the USA and Canada.

GATE

With "GATE - German Apprenticeship Training Exchange", we support vocational schools that enter into partnerships with U.S. and Canadian colleges. We fund exchanges that are either newly initiated or that already exist and are being continued. Funding of up to 20,000€/year can be provided.
