Research learning
By pursuing their own questions, arriving at results and interpreting them, students experience how scientific knowledge is created. In this way, they learn to evaluate and classify findings appropriately. This is an important basis for forming their own opinions and acting on their own responsibility.

What is in the dyes we encounter every day? What does basketball have to do with physics? Research projects can tie in well with the interests and everyday lives of children and young people and thus provide additional motivation. The research projects or the individual steps of the research cycle can then be implemented in the classroom. Student research centers also offer young people the opportunity to pursue their own questions outside the classroom.
