Dr. Henneke Lütgerath, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Joachim Herz Foundation, passed away at the age of 70 on August 29, 2024 surrounded by his family in Hamburg.
For seven years, Dr Lütgerath played a decisive role in shaping the work of the Joachim Herz Stiftung and managing the foundation. He was Chairman of the Executive Board from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2021 and in this role, he performed his duties with great enthusiasm, creative drive and a sense of responsibility for the common good. Dr. Lütgerath subsequently moved to the Foundation's Board of Trustees taking over as Chairman on February 1, 2022.
As Chairman of the Board of Trustees, he guided our organisation through the current phase of realignment with a calm, steady hand. During his many years in management positions, Dr. Lütgerath carried out his work with both great expertise and intellect as well as great warmth and humanity.
In addition to his role as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Lütgerath was also a member of the Supervisory Board of JH Holdings, Inc. and JH Title Holding, Inc.
