Expertise and Intercultural Competence
The Master of Law and Business (MLB) - Joachim Herz Program degree course offered at the Bucerius Law School in cooperation with the WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management is aimed at law students and economists. The program is taught in English and highly qualified students from all over the world may apply. Since the academic year 2009/2010, the Joachim Herz Stiftung has been furthering the international aims of the course by financing a scholarship program. Currently, the Joachim Herz Stiftung is supporting 20 fellows. Most of these are students who hold a degree in economics or business administration and have studied at a university outside of Germany or come from immigrant families. The degree course is practice-oriented and imparts intercultural skills through inter-faculty lecture courses on general subjects. The candidate selection and award of scholarships is carried out as part of the selection procedures at the Bucerius Law School.
