Third-Party Funding Requests

The Joachim Herz Stiftung supports third-party projects only when they relate to subjects that are covered in the statutes and express the key aims of the Foundation’s activities.

From Request to Funding Application

Every funding grant starts with a request. Please fill out our short request form and send it to us by post together with a description of the project. Please have a look at our funding guidelines before your send your enquiry.

Based on the information provided in your request, the Foundation will decide whether it relates to a project that can be supported by the Joachim Herz Stiftung. Please note that the Foundation will only process requests that are submitted together with a fully completed request form.

When we have received your request, we will inform you as soon as possible, usually within 6 weeks, whether the Foundation is generally interested in the project. If so, and provided you are entitled to submit an application for funding, we will decide which documents you need to submit with your application form for your individual case. For further information, please contact Ms. Tidow at +49 40 533295-48.

The Joachim Herz Stiftung supports third-party projects primarily in the field of education, preferably with a leaning towards natural sciences, mathematics, and international student exchanges. The Foundation is also interested in projects that promote an understanding of economic and financial topics among schoolchildren. With regard to school projects, we expect a high degree of self-initiative on the part of everyone involved, as well as creativity and cooperative development of new ideas. The Joachim Herz Stiftung generally does not fund projects that fall under the categories of music or sport.
