Supporting High School and University Students and Young Scientists.

To Stimulate Interest and to Broaden Chances

The Joachim Herz Stiftung creates programs and projects intended to contribute independently to the fields of education, science, and research. With its scholarship programs, the Foundation supports highly motivated high school and university students as well as emerging talents in science. This includes both financial as well as non-material support, for example in the form of summer academies and workshops. Projects in the field of science are specifically targeted towards young scientists conducting world-class research. With its educational programs the Joachim Herz Stiftung concentrates on improving the understanding of economics among schoolchildren as well as promoting an interest in the natural sciences and technology. The Foundation also wants to help children and adolescents find out where their talents lie and develop them to the full. The Foundation’s programs strive to even out any differences among participating children and adolescents stemming from their backgrounds and home conditions.
